Plastic Paintings

Waste plastic is used as pigment.

Material is collected, cleaned, sorted, arranged in a metal mould and baked at high temperature to form a tough solid sheet.

I really love the process, where I can meticilously plan the colour and design but yet there is always an element of surprise in the detail.
